Dr. Andrew Huynh is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and the founder of Shine Pediatric Dentistry. As a Southern California native, he is excited to have the opportunity to serve the communities of West Los Angeles and its neighboring cities. With the child’s comfort as one of his top priorities, he maintains a gentle and personable approach that puts both children and parents at ease.
"We take our time to ensure your child’s comfort, and to answer any questions you may have. We love what we do, and we want your child to love the dentist too! Thank you for choosing us to be your family’s Dental Home!”
During his dental training at UCLA, Dr. Huynh traveled to underserved parts of Honduras and China to provide dental care to children. These unforgettable experiences assured him that specializing in pediatric dentistry was the path for him. He completed his pediatric residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he served as chief resident. He received extensive training at the Boston Children’s Hospital where he provided dental care for children from all backgrounds, including those with special healthcare needs and medical complexities.
Dr. Huynh has been in private practice since 2014. He is also a part-time pediatric faculty member at the UCLA School of Dentistry and part of the Saint John’s Cleft Palate Team. When he is not working, he enjoys going to the beach and spending quality time with his family.
